dixyman: That's a lot of crashed cars in a very short history. You've either been very unlucky or you seriously need to adjust your driving. You can understand if people start to jump to conclusions with that list can't you!?!

Actually all were excellent... Except the prelude and second civic! Ageing EP3s are never a good idea... 6 years of thrashing really hurts a car!

I miss my DC5... Best car I've ever driven!

Passed test in 2004 aged 19.

04 - 06 Vauxhall corsa 1.0 12v. Brings back good memories got ragged to death though.

06 - 06 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 16v. Stop gap car after i piled up the corsa!

06 - 08 Ford Focus 2.0 Esp 3dr. Loved it. stuck like glue to the road!

08 - 12 Vauxhall Vectra CDTI SRi 150. Fast, Frugal, Great motorway cruiser. Started to have more problems with it though. Had 128k on when i got rid.

Feb 12 onwards, 2007 Seat Leon FR TDI. Love it and hate it. Fantastic looking. great to drive. fuel economy is REALLY REALLY pants for a diesel. But couldn't help buying it. just wish i could get vectra cdti mpg in it!

I'll be dropping of my Skoda Octavia TDI (130bhp PD) on the 1st of March to pickup my Leon.

Bought the car new in 2004, done 145,000 miles over the years and apart from pads, discs and tyres the only thing to go wrong was the clutch at 135,000 miles.

I've loved the car and it has done itself proud carrying me and my lead foot around the country.

Upgrading to something nicer to be in.

Before that I had a Citroen ZX for 3 years (yawn!!!) and my favourite car so far - Lancia Delta HF Turbo (approx 155bhp with airfilter, exhaust and other bits), I'm hoping my Leon will give me the same pleasure.

The integral was a 2.0 Turbo with 4wd that was 200bhp as standard.

The hf Turbo was a 1.6 Turbo and only fwd. Stock was 140bhp. It was the Italian version of the escort rs Turbo.

I'll own a good integral one day, if only for a month or 2.
