I'm surprised darkhorse's Brembo Max's warped but you can't beat personal experience of a product.

I don't know if this helps but here's some pics of ATE Power Discs old and new

I clocked them up and the run out was around 30 microns so didn't try to skim them on the lathe. It can only be felt at speeds below 10mph with v light braking and went through the mot fine. I do prefer the elliptical grooves on the powerdiscs tho

I've got black diamond 6 groove discs front and back with predator pads all round. Can recommend them.

Massive improvement in braking performance over standard. Been on just shy of a year and the discs themselves have hardly worn, the pads still have at least 75% wear in them. I do minimum 400 miles a week fast A road/motorway commute so they get a hammering.

The whirring noise when braking is audible in the car for the first few thousand miles I guess but isn't noticeable after a while.

By the way, i have a 115k mile standard TDi FR 130. It's a cinch to do the discs and pads DIY.
