What do you all think of this kit?

I know everyone's going Euro or leaving the vehicles standard but I'd really like to give me Seat some TLC. I adore this kit; it's subtle but really does the car justice!

http://www.stxstyling.co.uk/StxStyling/Cars/showit.php?pnum=2903

From what I can work out, this is all just added on to my bumper as it says "add-on" as opposed to just "bumper" ?

I was also thinking of some Halfords 17" rims (something cheap just fo the moment) - what style do you all think? I was thinking about some with loads of spokes (sorry my technical jargon is pants) but now I'm thinking maybe less spokes - either doubled up like \\ // or the "star" design?

I wouldn't get the spoiler either..though I might get some arch extensions (eventually) - also on the site and the bonnet vent.

What are your opinions on the kit, the site and the ideas in general?

thanks!

Personally, I think it's pretty nasty - and I don't mean that in a good way. Saying that - i've never been into stick on kits, and have yet to see one that really suits the Ibiza. Well, apart from the full works widearch rally cars, but there's a little more required for that conversion...

have a look at the bravus bodykit. ive got it sat at home at the minute waiting for my next car (GTi) looks awesome, dont buy it tho... im the only one that can have it... appart from the other people on here with it.

Dont buy the halfords alloys either, you can tell theyre from halfords, and halfords seem to charge like way too much for alloys. i looked into getting some wolfrace mantis 17" before i chose the ones i got now, and they were about £180 more at halfords than anywhere else!!

Get some of them like JENK i think they look mint

So that stick on is what you've got? Or did you mean the Bravus?

Anyone got any links to this Euro stuffage?

When I said Halfords alloys I meant Ripspeed ones - so I can trash them and not worry about the price tag (ya know, new driver et al). 15% discount for staff members ;) Hooray

You have to admit though, the side skirts are nifty on it :)

Rick C can you explain this to me please mate "no not that kit, the metal hanger things holding the front splitters up went out with 3 spokes"

Looks terrible, bits stuck on all over the shop with a big handle bar stuck on the roof. Must be nice more coherent kits around.

Please help steer the Ibiza's away from the Saxo image and NOT get that kit plz ;)

That stupid delicate from stick on will soon get destroyed on a kerb, spend the dosh on proper suspension and rims. Will make a huge difference on it's own.

I wouldn't get the silly spoiler!
Anyone got a photo of their car with the Bravus kit?
Would I get away with the Bravus front/rear bumpers and the Nikon sideskirts?

The flat faced bit pointing forwards just behind the line of the b pillar looks like it'd be awfully susceptible to low flying stones - meaning stonechip central. And depending on what the skirts are made of, it could well be substantially worse news than just a few chips in the paint...

thats horrid, please do not put that kit on a mk2.
as stated , decent rims and coilovers :p
save the money ud spend on that kit - get suspension
save the money ud spend on tacky halfords wheels and save for decent set of rims, not 17" etc..if ur going the coilover route!

youll be able to mix and match the parts of a kit, may cost a bit more tho, just make sure they all 'go' together. The bravus if im not mistaken is similar to the f2 kit but i dont seemto be able to find a lot of pics with a car with one on. just do an image search on google.

the bravus comes in fibre glass thats the only thing, but its pretty rigid, the whole front bumper doesnt even flex when you pick it up so the kit from stxstyling although pretty expensive is a qualiy kit.

I've seen photos of people here who got coilovers and big wheels - the cars still look as if something's missing. The Bravus kit on ebay is called Storm

Item number: 8046158937

So you recommend getting alloys and coilovers first, then bodykit? Do you atleast like the colour from the stick-on kit? I could get 6months interest free at Halfords with my 15% staff discount for wheels and coilovers AND get my kit at the same time?

the kit on ebay is a copy, and probably not as good quality as the ibherdesign one from stx styling. i was going to get the one from ebay then figured if it cracked or whatever its probably cheaper to get the stx one in the long run. Lowering it till it hits the floor on bout 16'' looks mint as long as youve got the gti spec addons, like the skirts and spliter. id lower it first as a body kit on a non lowerd car looks crap. suspension (coilovers) should cost about 300-400 for a decent set i think and just get some second hand alloys off ebay or werever if your going to upgradelater down the line. youll get some decent alloys off bay for 150 or so
