Done some logs tonight and took the car to T8 B5 and she was flying my temps when gunning it didnt go over 19 degrees and in places saw as low as 12 degrees, high up the rev range there is no timing pull back only low down the rev range. Am i doing any major harm to my engine by keeping it on timing 8 or is it worth lowering to say 6 and on special occasions turn it up to 8 or even 9?

you didnt really give the car much of a shoeing , take it out and drive it a mile or two cross country, thatll give you a better idea rather than slow driving. log as many things as you feel you need to analyse.
 
i don't think the timing will do any harm ... high boost levels are more likely to stress the engine. Has the pace intercooler made a big difference then. Swithering between pace or forge fmic.
 
yes it has mate and i know it isnt as popular as the Forge one but it has made a vast improvement to my car i have said many times before it holds boost a lot longer it feels a lot smoother as does the Forge one but the Pace one is cheaper there is just less people with them on in fact i think only 4 people have the Pace one on their cars. You can tell from my timing pull back and my temps that it is good so its up to you mate although it would be good to know someone with a Pace FMIC on a LCR that i could compare findings with.
