looks different, though each to their own - i'll be keeping my original cupra letters. as mentioned previously in this thread, you dont see many cupra's on the roads as it is.

> rash, i am liking the cupra on the front ;)

Cheers Richie, the shine was easy, I washed car a couple of times to make sure it was ultra clean n free of crap/grit etc, then used meguiars quick clay, which basically removes all the accumulated muck from the surface of the paint (makes paint surface really smooth, really easy to polish, costs bout £10 per kit from Halfrauds!), then went over it with zymol cleaner wax, this was about 3wks ago, and used meguiars tec wax on it once a week since then. The deep shine on my paintwork has stayed since applying the quick clay and cleaner wax, cant recommend them highly enough! The zymol stuff is especially easy to use, and feels like a quality product, even smells really nice lol!!! Zymol do their own equivalent of quick clay along with loads of other stuff! I have used quite a few Zymol products now and there isnt one that I wouldnt recommend, they are all that good! However you do have to pay quite a bit more compared with the usual turtle wax stuff etc... but as the old saying goes, 'you get what you pay for!' I've put a link below for a site selling the full range of Zymol stuff! :D

Just done mine this morning an gave it a quick detail finishing with some p21s. Looks much nicer now I think without the CUPRA on the back

Great work, keep the nurburgring sticker for sure ! Also its nice to see more discreet styling like you have done rarther than spraying a halfords sticker and badge set all over their motor. Have you got any advice on how about i should debadge mine mate ? I was travelling behind my friends 07 plate ibiza the other day and thought his looked so much better.

and to asnswer - to debadge all you do it boil the kettle let it cool down for a few mins then pour it over the boot/badges. And with some dental floss gently put it behind the badge and work it off - takes around 5mins.

A good hand polish usually removes any left over glue - although try most of it off first as you don't want to get too many swirls.

Lesson learnt boys  these darn newbies ah

Thanks for the tip clone, i have heard of several methods so was unsure with what one to use

Your method seems simple enough though :)
