What does this box do?

Whilst stripping out the interior on the Cordy I came across this thingy majig

Ive no idea what it does buts It could do with removing - I'm not that clued up with elecrical systems & dont want to chop it off without knowing wha it does.

Its has 'Infinity' & 'Kappa' on the casing.

Its a cross over mate.

Should be 1 pair of speaker wires in and one pair out to the tweeters and one pair out to the woofer.

Yeah take the speakers out nice and carefully ( yes you read right carfully, no hammers... ) then flog them on ebay, you might make half a tanks worth of unleaded for them

The said box is now in the Bin
as with all the copper braided speaker cables and rats nest of wire

Speakers are still the parcel shelf tho they cant be worth much - they sounded ****
