What has happened here?

Hi guys im taking everything out of my Tdi Sport so i can see what i want to put on my new Fr... one slight thing tho my dials are having a laugh not lighting up when i turn the lights on accept when the ignition is on... no memory, no miles display when i take the keys out and all the dials judder when i put the ignition on....
(when i turn the ignition off my sidelights are still on.....

you probably need £600 worth of new instrument cluster like my poor old brother on his 130tdi sport

he had that sort of problem but without the needles bouncing, we reseated and resoldered all the plugs/sockets with no luck

now the revs wont goto 0 lol they stay at about 900k... wierd i ent paying that due to im gettin my new silver Fr either 2nite or 2maz.... cant wait! it has just took me 3 nights to take everything off my car... so not standard....

i know the TT's wher bad for doing that. Didnt think that fault would pass on

Bmw's are bad for it, Some clio's with the white clocks, tt's and now seat.

im hoping my next one wont do it or it will be going back in for checks etc... i dont know about it what you trying to say? but at this minute my car is reading 900k and no lcd display were the miles and clock is lol

by the looks of my clocks when there is no keys in it nope it has covered 0 lol 11k enough? i got it with 6k on it 5 months ago.... i dont even drive it to work!!!
