Sat in my Maltese Hotel room watching something on TV called “Hal Far Sprint May 2019” and seeing a Red Mk2 Leon FR win against a Fiesta ST on a Sprint Track

Seems there’s a decent car culture here too. The next program is about a car meet showing all makes of cars but alas no Seats present. Anyone in Malta with a Leon CUPRA would have a very unique car I think.

Well to make you feel better or worse depending.

My mrs has been growing her vegy and fruits and this time of year there is lots and lots

Greenhouse has Tomato (small and large), Cucumber, Pepers and some climbing plants

Outside we have more tomato, runner beans along with other types of beans and courgette (which makes a great soup and or currey)

And then getting ready for Autumn is the late fruiting rasberry's (just about ready for picking)

And yes modding cars is much easier

I’ve figured out how you can afford all the Mods for your car @theoldboy. You sell your produce to Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s lol.

None left after its been shared out with all the friends, family and neighbors.
But we also get home made stuff back in return, I have some very nice jam my next door neighbor gave us at the moment.

@Legojon my point to you is make sure you don't build anything in the garden that needs looking after (eg greenhouse or compost bin or veggy patch) with the exception of apple trees as I used to make a very nice cider with my old tree, new one has been planted but it will take a few years to make enough fruit for home make cider.

Sheep eat all that grass?

Nah, it's b'ham... I woke up and it was gone.

Nice so far but that Plum "tree" is still a bush @Legojon :redface::redface:

It's produced nothing so far... a google suggests it's either cold, lonely, too young... I considered a second plum tree so they could be friends.

Yeah, I'm aiming as low maintenance as possible... dwarf shrubs and avoiding stuff that needs pulling out and planting each year. Removing large sections of the lawn to avoid having to cut the grass. Just finished laying the path out... now just need to lay the blocks down. But... it's less area for stuff to grow.

On the way home from work following a girl racer in a bright yellow Suzuki Swift, that shot off from every set of lights, junction etc even though the other traffic was just ahead and she then had to slam the brakes on to avoid running into them. I just hung back and hardly used my brakes at all judging the gap and the traffic flow, as there was just too much oncoming motors to try an overtake either, thinking that woman used to be safer drivers too.

M6 gin crash: HGV collision closes motorway

The M6 has been closed after a lorry carrying 32,000 litres of gin was involved in a crash and began leaking its cargo on to the carriageway.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was "working hard to stem the leak" - I AM VERY HAPPY TO HELP STORE SOME IN MY JERRY CAN.

The "gincident" prompted a flurry of puns on social media which may have been a tonic for those caught up in lengthy delays.

Mr Ree 2 asked if it was in the "sloe lane" while Anthony Davies tweeted those in the traffic "just had to gin and bear it".
