Hi all

Recently purchased a Leon Cupra R remapped to 265bhp.

I already feel the need for more power, what is there to do?

Also, anyone got any nicely modified Cupra R's? I don't mean by Lexus lights and all that stick on crap by the way, just want some ideas.

Thanks

If you are just going power then try a stage 2 map otherwise its hybrid or big turbo time.
Why not do the handling and brakes, etc. too. Its ok being able to go fast but if you cant stop or go round bends whats the point.
Use the search button and search the following:
Anti roll bars
s3 strut brace
Dog bone mount
coilovers or springs and damper set
look in the badger 5 section for brakes
some decent tyres
If you are going to up the power you will need uprated hoses
front mounted intercooler, etc, etc. the list goes on
Hope that helps;)

i bought my lcr already mapped to 260 (apparently - rollin road next week - defo not standard tho).

route im taking is:

blueflame cat back - done
k+n - done
007dv - done

downpipe - coming soon
decat - coming soon
Forge TIP - coming soon
then mite consider a live map or revo stage 2 if it'll make a massive difference ???

this leads me on to a question, if i just have a receipt with the car saying 260bhp but no graph to prove it is it likely to be just chipped or standard stage 1 map? receipt is from raceevo uk so anyone used these before?

Saying that, the amound of bodyroll is unbelievable... I have a 106 GTi too, and cant take corners at half the speed I could in that! Something really needs done with the handling on these as they're like boats!

If it's been mapped at Raceevo they should have some sort of record as the program will be licensed to your car. Try giving them a ring.

Your 106 will weigh alot less though which will help in the corners.Uprated ARBS transforms the LCR handling. One of the best mods you can do for them. Most popular sizes are 22,23 or 25 on the front and 25/28 on the rear, what sizes you go for depends on personal opinion and also what other mods you have or are planning.
Neuspeed are a very good product and the rear bar is adjustable for stiffness, but you will pay as they are the most expensive, with neuspeed you dont have any issues either with the standard rear exhaust silencer.Eibach also do kits but i aint got no experience of these so cant comment on fitment or quality.
