is it a 20 v turbo mate, you posted 1.8 20v?

if a turbo, stage 1 map goes to around 215 bhp

add a dp and sport cat and stage 2 map then your looking at 225

edit, seen 1.8t now

depends on the engine code, being a 2000 model like mine it may be an APP engine code wich means its still 180bhp standard but unlike the newer mk1 cupras the APP engine has a ko3 turbo and doesent have vvt (varieble valve timing) where as the newer ones have the ko3s turbo and vvt, i have been told a n249 bypass is not possible on the app engine? i dont know if this is true or not?

Fabia rear wiper - <£20
Golf Mk4 Aero front wipers - £50-70C2 or Civic Type R Ariel - £10
Green Cotton pannel air filter - Smoothed/drilled air box - £40-50 filter, free smooth and drill
Forge 007p Dump valve - £70 i believe
Coil overs - £300-500
AmD stage 1 remap - £300

That'll do donkey.... that'll do

I am geting my car serviced next month and then geting a remap.

I alrady have the cupra r front spliter waiting to be fitted. No the 2 sets off wipers. Is it just a case off phoning up the Skoda & VW dealers and asking them to order them in for you?

Already have a bailey DV and a Jetex panel filter. Looking for a few extra mods and like the sound of the wipers. Does any one have pictures of these on Cupra's?

Nice!

How easy was it for your areal (sp) to come off? i bought a smaller one but when i tried to take it off it looks like it keeps spinning on the bearing. Pain in the arse.

The rear wiper looks good, Do you just walk in to a skoda dealership and order one?

Its not allowing me to tell you where i am geting it remaped so i will try and code it for you

Bed rock v dubz, in Mother well.

Hope that helps lol

1. Unscrew Aerial as much as you can.
2. Fold down the pivot so the Aerial is flat on the roof.
3. Stand at the back of the car, hand on the base of the antenna, 1 quick hard yank.
4. Look in your hand at your Aerial that has been removed, and left black crap all over your hand.
5. Screw in your new aerial.

1. Open Internet explorer/Safari/Firefox/Opera.
2. Type www.ebay.co.uk into your browser.
3. Search 'Fabia rear wiper'
4. Find an estate one, and buy it :)

or click this link :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seat-leon-upg...3|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50 or wait for an estate one to be come available.... as I can't find one currently on there.... I know... I failed at life, lol.

...new top mounts £30
tt wishbone bushes £20...

When you say Top Mounts do you mean just new OEM ones or are there some uprated ones you can get? How much difference can they make and where (aside from stealers) can you buy them?

Also do you mean just the front wishbone rear OEM bush from a TT? Noticeable effect?

cheers

front rear wishbone tt bush yes mate, lot stiffer than oem leon bushes, big difference.

oem top mounts are fine, but renewing makes a big difference if they are worn.

buy from avs spares at 15quid ish.

I was previously on another forum - for MK4 GOLFs

i had a 1.8T GOLF - the HOTUNING COILOVERS off ebay - from Belgium were really popular amongst the forum members-

I dont know if they do it for the SEAT LEON - im hoping they do, as i would get some - cheap and are meant to be quite good quality - as they had alot of good feedback by MK4 GOLF TURBO owners....i never quite got round to getting them - they were on my list - but i ended up selling the GOLF as needed a 5-door car.....

Who ever owned the car before me must of been either a chav... and had A LOT of rings etc, or been very clumsy with the keys, as the door handles look like they have been keyed up...

I think they would 'buff' out, lol, but pain in the arse for scratches the silver paint is.... I think after the detail I will do next fortnight the smaller ones will disappear... but I might be a bit hopeful lol..

Yeah i am the same as you round the door's as well but there are one or two around the car. Need to spend time tarting it up before i take it in to get remaped as john who does it is always critical of my car when its not in tip top condition. lol

I am desperate for Cupra R wheels on the car as i have the big 5 spoke cupra wheels. They dont bother me but id like to improve the look.

I really want a set of Cupra 'Starfish' 17's, hard to get a non curbed set for my price range tho :(

I got a scratch on the rear 'spoiler', a few little dents on the front bumper, and a few other little blemishes... :(

Also, a week into owning it, I hit a bunny rabbit :( little b@astard cracked a fair bit of the front :( grrr, luckily, didn't hit a fog light, they are like £50-80 to replace!!

Few feeks after i got mine, the mrs forgot to pull the handbrake up and it rolled down a slight hill and hit a high curb. Just below the front fog, the front bumber is scratched.

She got her arse booted , was a happy chappy.

Been looking on forge motor sport at a Diverter Valve Relocation Kit. Not that expensive.

Can't be bad if they do it.. lol
