Printed off a nice little guide to the Leon which I found on here (that some good chappy had posted) and it mentions that the turbo runs better on 98 Octane. Has anyone noticed this by any remote chance  or do they run just as good on 95 ???

Oh and Mr Brown is doing really well for passionate motorists like us :censored: [:@] :censored: [:@]

id agree. but the car will adapt to the lower ron without problems. takes a couple of tankfuls for the ecu to adapt.

some on here have found that higher ron gives better mpg.. so its not always the saving it looks. not really tried myself though. proberly all down to driving style

Not this old chestnut again, be discussed about a billion times before. Can will run fine in either 95 or 98. I honestly can't tell the difference between the two.

Me neither... I used to run my old 200sx on Optimax / V power as it hated anything else but the LC doesnt seem to mind either... so with current fuel prices its just getting normal SHELL unleaded with a bit of silkolene fuel cleaner chucked in it every 1k miles.
