What pipe do i need?

Hello, what pipe is best for pushing my Jetex Cone Filter nearer to the wing on my LC?

Is it a straight silicone joiner or a 45degree elbow that would need?

I have found loads of information on LCR's but not for LC's. Can anyone advise me please?

How have you currently got it mounted? Directly on to the MAF housing?

You'll need a straight silicone section and also a straight alloy coupler. My hose alloy tube turned up today! just waiting for my TIP to arrive and Bill from Badger5 to get back off holiday, so I can get my Jetex ordered.

I've got a LCR, I know you have a LC but as far as I'm aware the basic layout in the engine bay is pretty much the same. I got a short length of silicone hose and a short length of alloy hose coupler, ended up with this:

'scuse the poor image quality, shot was taken on my phone's camera in low light, but you get the idea. The LC has a 70mm outside-diameter MAF housing so you'll need a bit of silicone with a 70mm internal diameter, and an alloy hose joiner with an outside diameter of 70mm also. I paid about 15 quid in total from ebay. I used hose clips from B&Q, much cheapness

which cone is that? is it the FC08001?

about 175mm at widest point and about 172mm long?

I've got an LC, but have a 80-70mm reducer and 80mm alloy pipe, so will be going for the same filter you LCR guys are using.

Yeh think that's the right model number, couldn't say for sure what the sizes are, I bought it second hand off a user on here so didn't get the original packaging. I can nip out and measure it tomorrow if it helps? It's pitch dark just now

nah, don't worry about it.

Will be doing plenty of measuring this weekend, as I'm going to make a heatshield for it..
