Hi guys am away to get the c-code phase 2 remap, just wanna know what power i would see with and without a ko3s.

Mods so far is...

Blue flame 3" down pipe with de-cat

Phase 1 c-code remap

Blue flame cat back

Custom frount mount intercooler

KN Induction kit

Forge cold side relocation

Forge splitter dv

Forge tip

249 bypass

So what will my bhp be after i get my phase 2 with and without a ko3s?? Thanks guys Rab

The k03 is at about its max around the 200 mark.

There are some that have more but the torque figure is lower.

If you getting a custom stage 2 done you have more chance to specify what you want out of it but IMO you wont see alot more than you have already...maybe 210 max but it wont hold for long atall before it drops off.

id say around 200ish aswell though daves ibiza did manage 222bhp on ko3 with around 220lbft and mine on the same rollers ko3s manged 230bhp and 270lbft ish on the same rollers same day

lol good day mate that was. rab mate get a k03s then get her mapped then ull see alot of diffrence;). whos mapping it for you mate

ull prob see 210. probs not much more than that as k03 runs out of steam

Ok guys thanks for your help looks like its a ko3s then, what does this max out at? Whats the cost of one?

Is it hard to fit this turbo in yourself??

Dave its custom code thats mapping it for me mate.

ok thats cool. the going rate really is 250 for a good one look on forsale section theres one there, no shaft play. bit of a bind doing turbo, ive done so many of these so easy to me

Righto mate will give it a bash only way to learn eh lol, what other parts will i need ie gaskets and stuff??

Oh will i have to relocate my intercooler pipes??

Thanks Rab

ye mate u need gaskets, bolts etc i think there is a partlist in the parts faq or sumin, na intercooler will be fine mate

na its better to have it that way mate but not essential by anymeans, ye take a full day on it defo especially if ur not sure what your doing

Better off saving up and going straight to a ko3hybrid. If i could do things differently again id go straight from a ko3 to a hybrid, you'll save yourself money on mapping, fitting parts etc. You will see a difference between ko3-ko3s upgrade but nothing out of this world different. Will hold boost abit better past 5k. These max out at about 230bhp, you wont see a true 250bhp any day.

I like the ko3s on mine but you'll get bored quickly, but if thats all you want to do with the car power wise then its a worth while and fairly cheap upgrade

personally i like my ko3s probably get slated for this but i been out in ko3 hybrid it was quick ye but wasnt amazed by it by anymeans maybe it wasnt set up the best but personally i wud rather go bt if anything but will never be able to afford that

Tommy, how come you werent that impressed with the hybrid. Heard good things about it. I think its the best power you can get without going BT

Well away offshore on thurday for 3 weeks so i should clear £3500 after tax on that trip, so... After a long hard think and not being able to get insured in a Evo 5 or 9 im just keeping the cupra for a few year but am wanting to tune it to about 260-280bhp.

So brass figers how much it gonna cost for a hybird i know when i bought one for my rs turbo it was £600 brand new and that was a stage 2 hybird from turbo tecnics.

My old ko3 is at CR Turbos now getting the hybrid treatment as we speak. Will be getting it back this week. Will be getting it mapped after xmas probably by Badger5 and then im done!:D
