Hello, I recently bought a pioneer appradio 2 and was wondering which adapter I need for the radio antenna to connect it to my head unit?
Anyone have any clues?
Cheers,
David

PC5-137 - Autoleads part number, has a built in booster as the VAGs have one built into standard stereo

I have app radio 2 and its really good for the money! Enjoy!
I used a PC5-90 adaptor I had lying around and seems to work alright, don't really listen to the radio all that much tbh.

Id advise doing the parking brake bypass with the stereo aswell, I just wired up a relay to do it, very simple :)

How do you do the bypass mate and what difference does it actually make? Mine has been working fine and the lead for the handbrake isn't connected to anything...

Yeah I can't wait to use the appradio feature with my galaxy note. Just waiting for the mhl cable to arrive

Just bought ARLiberator today! The thought of getting soundcloud IN my car ON my radio screen makes me want to wet myself with excitement!!
And that will probably explain why I haven't been able to access anything haha can you just connect it to the ground wire or does it have to be a relay?

It has to be a relay because it has to 'ground' after the radio switches on, I believe. Haha yes, I was so excited when I got mine, went to fit it and it just showed blank white screen, was faulty unit! Nearly cried lol

No probs, blue wire goes to any 12v positive. think I just spliced off same wire I used to switch relay. That radio antenna adaptor may not be the 'best' to get a good signal out of stereo, its just what I happened to use and seems to work!

Also just had a quick google and quite a lot of people recommend wrapping in electrical tape to insulate to stop interference... I would do that if I could get the damn stereo back out!
