What size/how many subs you got?

For me a-

15'' sub is for low bass
10'' sub for tight crisper bass
12'' sub for a happy medium of the two above

I ran 2x 12'' planet audio in my old 106 through a 4x200w planet audio amp that was bridged, ported boxes but not sure on the dimensions. It thumped and ended up in a broken rear window seal in the end.

Best thing i can advise on is its the amp and box that'll make the most difference, more than how many subs and their size

Probably not much help seeing as I have a Leon :p but I've got just a single 12" Digital Design 2512 in a 2.5cu ft ported box which has killed almost all my spare boot space but by good it's worth it...

Did you build that box yourself, or someone on talkaudio named jazz (looks like his work)

All Jazz's handywork there ;)

I'm utterly useless at anything like that.

All designed & built to the recommended specs for the DD2512.
Perfect work I'm still amazed by the quality.

Aww man, that's made it even harder waiting now, he's building my one!

Lol it'll be well worth the wait, quality of the finish is awesome :)

You gonna be at the AMD meet in February??

If you havent got yours by then you can have a look at mine to see one in the flesh :)

Skorchio,

My Missus nearly had a fit when she saw how little boot space was left after the box went in :lol:
She moaned she'd have nowhere for the shopping...I told her thats what the back seats were for ;) lol

 amazing! I won't be at the AMD, not really any point in a 1.2!
Jazz said he'll have finished the box by this sunday, so not long to go now. You may have some boot space but mine will be non-existant!

And antee, for a tonne of bass, go for two 12's with the space you have, no boot=masses of bass :D
(+ to do it properly, get a box custom built, then it's exact to the specs of the sub, to get the max out of them!)

P.S antee, loving the sig :D

Ah well, as long as you haven't got tinnitus, everything's alright!
(P.S poverty, my cousin couldn't do the wiring install either) but got quoted £50 from a place in west wickham to run the power cable up and RCA/remote down)
