Hey guys,

Going to the car dealer again later today to check out the service history in detail.

It's an FSi 2.0 sport which has done 87K miles.

With this being my first Altea - what things should I look out for in the history?

So far I have:

Regular oil changes every 10K miles
Pollen filter change every 20K miles (what about air/con service?)
Air filter / plugs / fuel filter? (only on tdi's?) change every 40K miles.
Cambelt change at 60k miles.

Checked google for known faults... but I can only find a few 'water leaks'.

Is there anything else I should look out for?
It's an ex-company car so servicing 'should' have been done religiously.

Check that you have invoices for the work, rather than a book of stamps & ticks

But ex-fleet should have been done largely correctly (normally better than most private cars)

check the bottom of the windscreen.... if it's going white, usually up to 1" from the bottom, then it's starting to delaminate and water is getting into it. I had mine replaced by the dealer before I collected the car, but mine was in warranty.... due to the mielage, your's will be out of warranty....

Other thing is to check if it's had the recall for the dual-mass flywheel that early 2.0 TDi's had.

Other than that, can't think of anything else major, apart from cambelt as I've suggested before.
