Ive always gone for eagle F1 assymetrics, but ive purchased some Falken FK452's for the front. they are highly rated but 65quid compared to 100 for F1's. So interested to see the difference. I dont really think the falkens price reflects there quality though.

Ive got bridgestone RE40S on my FR - With regards to having a new car and being tempted to slam my foot down all the time, they dont seem to stick too much.

My 1.2 Clio had Toyo tyres, stuck like cum to a bedsheet.

Anyone been able to get stock of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics?!?
I've rung round several places and they're saying stock is limited at the moment.... o_O"

Had some Pzeros which came standard with my 07 FR..... never again..... rims got scratched to bits within months (unfortunately my mum takes my car out sometimes.... *sigh*). Hate tyres which don't have a decent rim protector! (Think this was a major complaint with most leon owners with Pzeros).

Front Pzeros lasted 19k.... rear ones are just sawtoothing now at 35k.....

Got the fronts done end of 2008 with some Eagles..... quality bit of rubber in the summer..... although i was skidding around on the M1 2 weeks ago when it snowed...... doing 70+ and seeing your ABS/skid lights come on is a pants-browning experience! =P
Good ride and quieter than the Pzeros...... got about 3-4mm left on the fronts after 16k.....

(BTW, I mainly drive around the roads in London and on the motorways, so a pretty varied spectrum of roads)

Might be getting some Falken FK452s all round next month..... can't seem to find fault in them from reviews.... plus at £80+VAT fully fitted, can't go wrong (especially since i was getting quoted £130+VAT for the Eagles).

I was going to make a post about this, there seems to be a shortage at the moment.

My local independant has been trying to get me a pair all week, spoke to him earlier to get an update & he's been told that Goodyear arent getting anymore until 12th March !!!

I called in to see him wednesday & he had managed to get a pair of the original F1's, which I thought were discontinued when the asymetrics came out ????

I wont mix tyres, so its going to be the 12th for me, fingers x'd

They produce as many tyres as they think they'll need for a season and they got the demand for winters completely wrong this year. As a result, it has probably affected production of summers.
