The PD150 inlet should look different if you lay them side by side. Air box is up to you, shouldn't make any odds as the standard is fine anyway.

And yes, clean the intake first as that can make a fair difference to overall poke.

The bumper was off last night to have a look at the FMIC. It looks massive!

I'm not sure if I'll use it. I might have a look at fitting a custom kit instead?

Nice one. They come with 0.216um nossles on them, bosch I think. They'll not be as good as bosch or high flow x. They might provide as much power but smoke more. Go for big big intercooler or did I miss the sarcasm and the intercooler that's on it is minute?:D Good going. I'm being misdirected by dodgy electrics at the minute to even get a tuning box set up. I take it that those are the leather s3 seats in your picture, nice.

They are indeed mate.

The intercooler is massive but it's just from a PD150 apparently. I think I'll just fit a custom job & pipework tbh.

Once the snails back I'll bolt it together.

Cupra R bumper will be fit tomorrow.

You can get a fair whack of poke from the .216's and they are indeed bosch if they're genuine. It's not just the hole size but the way they can actually flow the fuel. I take it these are second hand and not some chinese fakes?

You'll need to get them fitted and pop tested to a suitable pressure depending on the power aim.

Speaking to my tuner it looks like I'll have to get mine recalibrated for more power without smoke.

Right I've been bothering Ryan at Darkside since yesterday. The plan is.

The transporter injectors are going to then first for .620 nozzles fitting. Then I'm going with the car once the turbo and intercooler is fitted. They will do the egr delete and fit the nozzles. Then map and map sensor done while its on the rollers.

Can't wait. It should be a cracking works chariot when finished

FYI You might find you need a new clutch when the tuning's done.

My PD 150 clutch slipped after remapping to 175hp/300lb ft. and was far from worn out when it was removed.

Seems the standard PD clutch doesn't like torque over 300, but your car has the 5-speed 'box(?) so maybe a different clutch?

Thanks mate. It's already sorted. SMF and updated vr6 friction plate.
