What would you do in a service

Hi, A friend at work asked me to service his car and wants to know what to buy. Il be fitting his plugs, oil and filter, air filter, pollen and fuel filter and looking over his brakes. Anything im missing out for the regular bits?

Check the brake fluid
That is every 2 years....

i usually check for gunk in the throttle body

depends how much beer tokens you get , a quick wash

spray maintinance spray ont he top covers so it looks nice and clean.. if he opens the bonnet it looks like hes got something for his money

are any unusual tools required for servicing. i.e. to get at plugs or drain the oil.

You need special tool to get pipes off the fuel filter.....you do on my LC anyway

Thought i hadnt left anything out just thought id check so thanks guys. leaving fluid to him and same for timing belt/waterpump too much trouble for a mornings work.

i have one special tool to remove the oil filter - a laser oil filter socket which makes the change a breeze especially as its tight on an LCR. As for fuel filer i use long nose angled pliars to clamp the fuel hose connections a pita but nothing special - also created a guide in the faq section.
