:funk: wow I'm feeling happy that I've only had

Coil packs replaced... (got them thru seat for nothing)
Wheel bearing and hub.. (Due to some numpty leaving the hub nut loose)
Just replaced the Maf Although think they've sold me a duff 1 because still coming up with same faults and still feeling a bit sluggish...

All in all tho I'm feeling pleased now I've heard how many faults you lot have had.
Saying that its only done 32k..
Think I'll sell soon I don't want to temp fate now I've said its going fairly well......

atleast potential buyers know what to stock up on before they purchase the car!

nah more seriously, its good to know what does go wrong with a car and seeing how basically 90% of the stuff we've listed is all the same e.g. temp sensors, mafs, coilpacks and clutch pedal clips

least might be reassuring to some people who think their car just has all the bad luck

truth is none of those problems are really that bad

Your always going to get the odd problem with a car no matter what car you have. Ive had my fair share of problems with mine but I still love it. To me its all part of the fun and everytime something goes wrong you learn from it and know what to look out for next time

I understand that, but if you drive a £2k car, then upgrade to say, £5k you'd expect as little to go wrong as possible ;) im aware that little things may happen, but it seems in this thread people are/have experienced quite alot in the short lifetime of the cars, seems every ibiza is prone to some errors (some cases quite alot)!

Get yourself a new Kia;) They must cost nearly 5k new and you get a 7 year warranty with it;) Then if something goes wrong you dont pay:D

lmao nice one

most drivers of mk3 gti's (espesially the 8v's - mine is the 16v) should realise what they can and cant beat :p me personally wouldnt even try against a cupra

....... hence one of the reasons im getting a cupra.........

yeah the 8v is pretty dyer! i have one myself (albeit in a Cordoba) and as fun as it is i miss the torque of my 1.8T when i drive it

the 16 valvers aint shabby though, tbh standard vs standard be surprised if theres much in it.

lots more potential though, nobody buys an Ibiza Cupra for its performance and then keeps it standard
