Hi all, had a search on the forum and i can find a few posts about big brakes but haven't come across one that helps me.
What i'd like to know is what is required parts wise to fit bigger brakes on a LC Mk1 with the standard wheels being used? any help or info would be much appreciated.

badger 5 lists the brembo kit.

if you want better braking the standard brakes are good with better pads.

remember with brembos you`ll need bigger wheels than standard

I'm pretty sure you could fit the porsche brakes in the Awesome Gti Neuspeed kit behind the stock 17" wheels as that kit uses 312mm discs whereas the Brembo one uses 323mm discs. However you would need spacers to clear the calipers. I needed 10mm spacers to clear the Porsche Boxster calipers on mine.

hes tighter than a nuns chuff tho ... i spoke to him earlyer and hes after what parts are needed to go for the bigger 312 set up i.e what parts are needed

ha ha ha cheers dan, so if i got 312mm discs and carriers to fit then i'd need 10mm spacers? Would people recommend just uprated pads and grooved discs?

I have a set of R32 brakes fitted... Tops... Bigger than Bremos too. (see my car)

I also have another set for sale... If you are interested send me a message...
