Many thanks for the advice, I'll give the resistor a miss and wait 'till the spring.
Loooking at the remap, not sure if to go for the cheap stage one option and save the clutch (£375 at Jabba) or the stage two option (£475 plus the clutch). Clutch appears to be about £800 going from what I've picked up from the forum - another £900 for plus 10-15 break? Thats the dilemma and reading Jabba's stage 2 (BHP 192 - 206).
The other thing with the blade - it'll get changed in spring. I've had my 929 for four years and kept saying for the last two - 'I'll change it this year...' It's gotta go for a 06 1000 blade. Tried one out last year and my bike feels old.
There is no question about stopping the bikes. I have a Blackbird for the Mrs - she was insistent that she was on it until she could not no longer. Mad as it may sound but she was on the back at very brisk pace until nearly seven months due! Entirely her decision - who am I to argue with the boss!? Even at this late stage all she kept on saying was the thing she missed most whilst pregnant was the bike. I know, I did worry about it last year and still do now - mortality.
Cheers for the comments and sorry for the delay
