hi guys

i have just searched music in the ice forum and on post came up from last year and i was wondering if it would be good to start a thread with some decent songs and artists that bring out the full potential of your sub.

Enjoyed this thread this morning as I have got the Bose cans out and been tapping through my iTunes library checking out stuff I used to listen to when I had a real in car hi-fi system rather than the OE kit in the Audi.

Obviously Drum & Bass / Breakbeats tends to stretch a good sub set up further so I've singled a few tracks out under specific headings, but the rest have gone under general. Hopefully if you find 1 or 2 useful things in there its better than nowt.

In the format

Artist : Track Name (Album / EP Name)

Drum & Bass
DJ Hype/Ganja Kru: Super Sharp Shooter (Album: Johnny Was Vol.2 or EP: Super Sharp Shooter)
Doc Scott: Unofficial Ghost (Album: Metalheadz by Goldie)
Alex Reece: Pulp Friction (Album: So Far)
Amon Tobin: Easy Muffin (Album: Bricolage)
Boards of Canada: Pete Standing Alone (Album: Music has the right to children)

Breakbeats
Aquasky: Bodyshock (Album: Y4K Next Level Breaks by Tayo)
Pendulum : Slam (Album: Hold your colour)

Some good stuff there Warren - you're almost cool for an Audi owner ;)
You missed off

Faithless - Dirty old man
Afroman - Colt45

Many thanks Fester, I like to think I'm leftfield as Audi owners go (no big yellow Breitling, and I drive in the inside lane at the speedlimit!). You can't grow up in Ibiza and not be a music lover - OK may not be to everyones taste, but I thought the tracklist was considered!

Good call on those 2 tracks, we like ;-)

There's a tune by Ciara I quite like that has a decent bassline, can't for the life of me remember what it's called though - it's one of the first few tracks on the album.

Bassotronics - Bass, I Love You. (VERY BASSY)

This is a great tune to test your full setup - Sound amazing with Comps, Tweeters and a decent Sub. ;)
