Wheel specs

Hello Seat people!
I have problem with wheel specs for my 2005 Altea. I got wheels for winter and I like them so much but they are Alhambra spec 7x16 ET 59
I run some lowtec shocks with red springs and when I tested wheel inner edge is 10mm from shock body. I plan to fit 205/55. One question: Did I screwd myself? 😔

205 on 7j won't fit. Whats the standard offset of your standard wheels? If they scrubbing by 10mm. You could fit spacers (10mm hubcentric)

Standard offset is from 50 to 56 depends on J. I found out that 7x16 ET 54 fits. 205 on 6.5x16 and 225 on 7x16
Huge tire difference but only 0.5 inches on wheels. 205 on 7J little strech may fit with small clearence. Maybe?! I now run 18x7 ET35 225/45 15mm tire to shock body.

I will buy Sava S3+ 205/55 R16. I now have Sava Intensa UHP2 225/45 R18. On the 18" no rubbing because ET is 35.
This ET59 on 16" is problematic. You can see that on the photo.

You need spacers 57.1 x 5 x 112

With the 16" rim fitted...measure from the top outer of the rim to the outer arch. That measurement in mm will give you the spacer size you need to get pretty flush look

Also, the front wheels will have a lesser measurement than the rear. (Usually rear is 10mm more)

Thanks for responding. I will put tires on wheels and chek if they hit the strut. If they do I will buy 5 or 10mm spacer for the front and 15 for the back. I got the wheels for cheap and I want to refinnish them.
