I think you could do 7.5
you could yea but then it comes down to messing with offsets, either new rims or spacers etc, then you hope they dont rub on the arches.
17s look well i have to admit but something inside me always wants 16s, especiallt as i had so many sets on my previous two motors.

i'd like 7.5 on the front and wider wheels on the rear maybe 8.5 but really unsure what to do. i'd prefer 17's but i dont want any clearance problems, maybe 16's would be a better option

I have 8x17's to try in ET28 but this wont be as simple to bolt on...

I'm running 7.5x16 with 20mm spacers on the front and 30mm spacers on the rear. I run the car really low and it rubs on the rear occasionally. Arches are being rolled in the new year.

Worth mentioning your offset on the wheels tho is very high

Nope, ET36 on the rims. (before spacers that is)

What? Really?

+20mm spacers on the front on ET36 rims?
they must stick out of the wings surely?

I just cant see it in my head...

mine are 7.5J x 16 in et35 and dont leave 20mm worth of front arch clearance (i wish they did cos that will make fitting my 8x17's a breaze)

Do you have a picture showing front wheel and arch level. Very interested to see how much gap there is.. maybe I am going to be in luck myself :)

thanks

I wanted a wide stance anyway, but had to use 20mm spacers to clear the Brembos :D

Here's a piccy.

adjusted the gammer correction now.. brighter and cropped.
The wheels stick out of the wings dont they?

You said ....
"I'm running 7.5x16 with 20mm spacers on the front and 30mm spacers on the rear"

20mm per side front spacers and 30mm per side rear spacers.. Is that right? on ET36 rims in 7.5J x 16

9 inch wide on the back in 16" fit with no problems(ET30) than you have about 0,5-1 between the wheel en the rear axle

in my case 215 tyres on these so a little stretched..

-6 cm lowered and no problems so far

for my next set of wheels im going 17's and i think these in 8,5-9 wil fit to

on the front i think 8 is the max without getting problems

grtz
