Me about 6k

I have no doubt a valver would go to 10K - 86.4mm steel crank and 82.5mm pistons required though so it wouldn't be a full 2L car - rest of spec like my motor - unfortunately would need a very expensive gearbox to go with it as a stock box has trouble above 8K

Yeah and with some terminal failures too

10k? a fumbled gear change would sort that.....

Only occationaly tho, can't afford the fuel bill!
