Sorry for lack of thorough searching, I just need a quick answer.

Where do I find my engine code?

That was quick. So, what is it?

It can be found on the build data sticker in the service book and also under the carpet or in the spare wheel well in the boot, and stamped on the block along the line of the gearbox bellhousing joint.

Next question for the idly curious: do they all agree

According to EuroCarParts, when I entered my reg plate. came up with, ASV.

Don't trust Eurocarparts, my car came up as AGZ when it's actually AQN. And there's 10 valves and 20 horses difference between the two!

Oh, thanks for the heads up, I'll check when I get my car back from the MOT later..

That could of been a costly mistake....
