I would be very careful that you dont put none re-inforced top mounts in.
Mine had standard golf 4 mounts in and I had trouble with camber and kept destroying tires.
I replaced them with LCR re-inforced mounts and the camber problem disappeared.
If you are considering putting coilovers on, I would recommend you put adjustables on.
I have just put a set of weitec coilies on my LCR and coupled them with some eibach adjustable top mounts.
They certainly aint cheap, but they come highly recommended by many.
If your shocks n springs are getting tired too, they will give you some extra camber adjustment and also allow you to change the caster, should you wish.
I paid £135-00 for the eibach top mounts from awesome and £478-00 for the weitec coilies.
