Sorry for sounding a little stupid here, but where did you get the VCDS programme and cable from?
Would you have any online links you could share?
I have a 2012 seat exeo and i would like to be able to read and clear codes on both it and my girlfriends 2013 audi a3.

Can anyone recommend a scanner around 40 quid that they know works?

They're so many and the only one i know for a fact works (vgate vs450) doesnt seem to be available anymore.

Any help appreciated.

Bought mine from Gendan. They are dealers and so no issue about fake cables etc. The s/w is downloaded from Ross Tech's website.
