No dump valves just diverter valves....Bailey or Forge are probably the best 2 choices both as loud as each other I expect but you wont get a decent sound from them unless you have a induction kit or something

I thought it had been too long since somebody last asked this question! I mean, we nearly went a whole day!

If only there was a way of searching through previous threads to find answers to questions.... wow... that would be just great.

personally i'd go for performance over noise any day. i've got a forge 007p with a BMC carbon filter and forge TIP and the noise is quite noticable, even more so after bypassing the N249 valve.

The Bailey DV30 is the loudest DV I've used, noticably louder than the Forge 007P. The Forge Split-r will give you a bit more noise than a full re-circ. DV.

If you want to go fully atmospheric, you take your chances as there is no guarantee your car will like it. But the only two BOV's that have worked for me are the HKS SSQV and the Collins. So far the Collins has caused ZERO problems - no stalling, backfiring, lag, rich running, sooty exhaust or plugs ... nothing, and it sounds awesome!

i have a bailey dv30 and a jabba sport induction kit.

makes a nice sound.

it's a bit quieter now after fitting the forge dv relocation kit, but that's maybe because it's now at the front of the engine bay?

Fitted my splitter yesterday. Its not nery loud and seems to be louder when you come off the go pedal slowly. Also when i rev up in nutral, dont seem to make any noise, only if i hold it at 4k for a few seconds!!! Same as for everyone??

you might want to give it a few more clockwise turns. When i fitted mine there was barely anything and nothing at all after 4 gear but i've now set it arount 3 turns and it is much more noticeable. how many times have you turned it so far?
I mean im not really looking for any noice but at least you know it is running properly when you can hear something
