whinning noise

hi all my my lcr seems to make a whinning noise sounds like fuel pump or something is it normal for it to be loud enough to hear over the engine ????

can you be a bit more descriptive? when does this happen? all the time? just when driving?

all the time just a wirring pump noise the car runs and goes fine my mk4 golf didnt have the noise the power sterring is fine when i rev the engine the noise stays constant ?

Mine usually stops when I open the passenger door at the shops

that stopped when the 749 had termies fitted i went deaf on the first ride.
