Who has the most tuned mk3 cupra??

I saw a white 1.4 Chill on the way into work this morning and agree they really should have released these as Cupras too. I reckon they'd look sweet in BMW Alpine white...

I tinkered for a while and then bought a Stnd Ecu of hooch to put back on along with the VF. From Jabba doing the IHI until I decided to change spec after a fuel pump failure it never really missed a beat in 40k, from that point on it only managed 1-2K in 18-24 months, it was a bit of a nightmare it was basically a non-runner.

Once back to Stge 3 IHI its been as good as gold apart from a little moisture on the ecu plug which was a 2 min fix. Its up and running and its how I should have left it looking back.

I think it did 315-318bhp (297bhp@wheels)@ the fly at awesome in the last 6 months. I changed from IK22's to NGK PR's and it a lot smoother at both idle and when running. I took it out today actually and its running really clean/crisp and pulling hard. Its moving the same air over the maf as it did back at Jabba 4-5 years ago and the fuelings good.

I actually use it for my little girls school run now, its her favourite car.

Just checked, my car was IHI'd by Jabba on 19-11-2004, thats just over 5 years ago now where does the time go.

ill probably paint mine white at some point been looking at loads of different colours and its either bmw alpine white or the audi white that the new a3/s3's are that will be after xmas tho,

Theres two white IHIs around unless they have been crashed/broken/blown up. Both done by members on here but since sold. Once came up earlier this year and the new owner blew the gearbox on the way home I think iirc.

I remember reading that thread.

Was 3rd gear that went bang. Although there was warning sings there when it was bought with the gearbox being a bit rough might see if i can dig the thread out.

i noticed that the only white cupras ive seen have bigish turbos on and are over 300 bhp so hopefully i can be a member of that club next year lol
