Why couldn't my FR overtake a normal Leon?

If you look at the 140ps it is only 1.1 second slower than the FR, especially if he had the DSG that would increase his pickup compared to the manual FR.

Unless you are really pushing it over 100mph i doubt you could really see it.

Are you sure it wasnt the 2.0 sport you were racing as they were around 180-185 if I am not mistaken and could probably keep up on acceleration.

Is this true about the 2.0 TDi sport having 180ish bhp, I'd always assumed they'd got the 140bhp like the current 2.0 stylance unit?

2.0T FSI Sport (petrol) had 185 on paper

The 2.0T FSI had 200bhp in real life though didn't it? Certainly felt exactly the same as the FR.
