will 19" wheels +lowering fit my leon 1.6?

planning on putting on 19" wheels and lowering will this work or am i wasteing my time?? wise cracks plz!!!!! its a serious question which i do need help with deciding thanks any useful info much apreciated

you can make them fit, however it will handle like a dog and not have enough power to move swiftly

18's are a safer compromise.

A set of springs will lower it sufficiently to stop it looking like a clown car

cheers for the advise if were to put on 19" what kind a mods would i need to do as ive been told they would fit with 235/35/19 tyres
