Hi all too many of these threads but asking normally gives a faster response so I apologise in advance

I've recently had a new redmans camshaft kit done, then followed by new sachs DMF + clutch kit as my release bearing had failed.

It's my 21st monday so I'm thinking of taking it upto Rtech as its just up the road but wondering if the standard sachs setup will hold for definite?

dont want to kill a new clutch, I've had the clutch slip twice on me but that was in second and driving it very aggresively (gave it the beans before clutch was fully engaged)

any thoughts?

p.s. car is a 2004 cupra tdi with jetex catback

Mines a petrol and running standard clutch on stage 2 . Never had it slip once . Obviously I know dervs have more torque , but wouldn't think you would have problems on a stage1 . Stage 2 possibly I would think . Best bet is to ask the re mappers . They SHOULD know what's what . Being a reputable company they will point you in the right direction .

If it's slipped twice with standard power what do you think will happen with even more power ?

Confused as to why clutch would slip for second time if you are running standard peer........are you sure it's not been mapped previously

I have almost 200 thousands miles on my cupra, still the same clutch, and never had been slipped once.
