been offered some wheels for swap but dont think theyl fit.
wheels are 17 inch 10j all round with offset of et20.
would these fit even with wheel spacers. any help appreciated as im lost with working out offsets e.t.c

by the sounds of it... no. the inside of the wheels would hit the shocks.

if you did space them out far enough you would need to do some serious arch work for it to be legal.

^ or very stretched tyres

EDIT: I think you'd struggle with 10" wide on a leon never mind the ibizas

Can you not borrow one to see what's what. Then you could check clearance etc. Failing that, you might be best to ask the motorsport guys.

why not use some basic logic ? just measure what you have at present then see where/how it will be different ??

few calculators here will help

Tyre profile is a % of the width so take that calculation into consideration also as it will drastically affect the rolling radius especially if you are already upping the wheel diameter anyway

The reason behind listing arch clearances is to make sure you allow for tyres  as believe me some don't even think about it and it will also give you a measure as to how limited you are for lowering and space available to start.

That list above is by no means exhaustive, just a way I have used many times along with the calculators in the link to get an idea of what sort of difference a certain rim would make

Once you start adding lowering height differences, suspension travel and steering lock limits and size of spacers/adapters for to add into the mix you can end up in all sorts of trouble mind - as they say measure twice cut once ;)

so to to answer the time honoured Holy Grail repeated quiz question of the millenium - Will They Fit ???

Yes/No/Probably

however will they WORK ?? all depends a lot more on what it is and what it's fitted too.

would 18", 8J with 35ET fit?

to a pogo stick ?
