Wind Deflectors

My Team Heko ones never came with metal clips

they just had the small patch of double sided tape at one end

hmm... i think the clips are only to hold the deflector in the seal if its loose.. been looking on various other forums and some have used them and some havent.

theyre going on my mk2 cordy but i am looking to tint the windows slightly and think it may be better if i get that done first

how long have you had them on for? they still holding up well?

Naz, Ive a set of deflectors on my mk2 but have never used any clips?

and theyre solid!! no movement, no rattles, no nothing.

Ive had them for about 5 months now. They're still as good as when i fitted them.

As Brummy says, not rattles or movement, hee haw

are they the Heko ones John? read mixed things about fitting em..some people manage to snap bits off etc

im just going to fit them and see how goes, i read somewhere else that the clips are only to hold the deflector in place whilst the sticky goes off???

it only comes with 2 clips so i dunno.. thinks ill get the tints done before i fit them though

I must have some different ones, Ive never had clips nor glue/sticky? the ones Ive got are a VERY tight fit into the door rubbers area where the glass goes.. you pretty much have t obend them slightly to get them in, but once in they are most definately in !
