Window Tinting

i got quoted 150 pounds for back window and also the 2 rear windows which would be limousine tint so literally blacked out .. no one really touches the front two as apparently they can get done for it ...

ya its illegal to have the front windows tinted and of course the windscreen.

better leave that alone if you want to see anything.

IIRC it's legal to get a 30% tint on the front side windows (i.e letting 70% of light through)

Yeh don't touch the fronts, limo tint on rear will look too much IMO especially since you can't touch the fronts.

I was only wantint ~-30% all round. Not into the limo tint.

Windscreen: No tint allowed
Front 2 windows: 70% or more light must pass through
All other windows behind B pillar: As dark as you want!

I paid £150 for mine, dark on the back light on front.

exactly as said, 30% max on front a sun strip if u want and rears as dark as you please,

35% tint all-round on mine for £180...the finish was mint also with the film being cut right on the edges of the windows. Some places can't deal with the dot-matrix on the rear windows but this guy done a great job, no bubbles. no problems whatsoever regarding police

i had my windows tinted for 200 quid, the 3 rears are a medium smoke and the fronts are light smoke, police dont seem to be bothered around here

make sure they take the glass out, otherwise when you do the window down you get a nice area of untinted window!!

paid about 130 for all windows tinted. Price shouldnt vary on the shading of the tint as its still the same amount of work, price will only differ if you get 3 windows done or 5!
