Hello,
First post and not a massive car guy so bare with me
Recently just bought a 2014 MK3 Leon. Was washing the windscreen from the interior and noticed a fairly large scratch (probably about 10 inches?) just infront of the drivers seat. 99% sure it wasn't there when i bought the car and thought originally there was maybe a small stone or something in the cloth thats scratched the window when i was cleaning it. When i inspected it a wee bit more though it seems like the scratch is inbetween the window panes. You can't feel it at all from the outside or the inside.
The only thing i could think it would be would be a stress fracture since it's been baltic here but it's definitely more of a scratch than a crack.
Has anyone had anything similar to this and more importantly does anyone have any idea if manufacturers warranty would cover this? It runs out in march so would obviously like to get it fixed under this if possible. It doesn't make the car undrivable or block your view or that but it's pretty irritating once you've noticed it as you constantly notice it.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated cheers.
