Windscreen Washer Pump

Hi Guys

The washer pump on the Ibiza is not making any noise now and no water is appearing so i'm assuming its dead. Do any of you guys know if its just a case of screwing off the old one fitting a new one or is it a whole new water bottle too?

Any ideas on cost?

Cheers for the reply went on ebay and found some £13 ones so i'll get one in from a dealer if they are less. Been out and pulled it out, cleaned it a bit and its now working, but its probably on its last legs. Also found that one of the pipes had blown off due to the pressure and ice.

When mine stopped I took it apart freed up the motor and sprayed alot of 3 in 1 in the motor. Put it all back together and Has worked fine for a month now. I might see how much a new one is when i go to the dealers for my boot light switch.

Ive got a used one sitting in the garage that someone can have if they wanna just pay postage?

i found i had this problem and it turned out one of the washer pipes had come loose and i could just here it buzzing

I had to replace mine as pipes came loose and blew it bad craftman shift
