windscreen wipre rubber exchange

Hallo guys

as far as I know there is possibility to exchange the rubber in front wipers.

I did it in my previous Octavia 2 using the rubbers 1K0955429D (VW OEM Part number) and cutting them in required length. The part of delivery are also both end covers (caps) for wiper.


I see that covers are a bit smaller as the actual ones on Leon.

Does anybody know the correct Part number for rubbers for Leon Mk3 wipers (maybe for Golf 7) with correct caps (covers)?

Why not just fit genuine ones like most people?

The rubbers are much more cheaper, and it is work for few minutes only. And still you have the same quality as original wiper blades.

As a tight Scot I tried this once and the hassle of fiddling about to fit them and then not being quite as good as standard, will make sure I never try again. About £18 on Amazon for front pair got me better than the originals that fitted in seconds.
