Hi All,
I wondered if anyone on here has needed to replace their wing mirror glass. Last week some Chav kicked my mirrors during the night and broke them both. I've purchased new mirror glass from the dealer and fitted them. I'm waiting for a replacement rear cover for the offside mirror, which I've ordered.
I've put some pictures of the damage online:

My question is this: I only have a SEAT Ibiza 1.2 Reference. The mirrors on my car are manual. Does anyone know if there are separate part numbers for mirror glass for the manual vs the electric ones? The part numbers of the replacements I got from the main dealer are: 6L2857521 and 6L2857522. The description on the parts are 'LUNA REGU ICD CURV' and 'S04 STO LUNA ELEC' respectively.
I admit I didn't compare the old part with the new part when I fitted them. They fit fine. It was only after I'd fitted them that I read the part description and saw the 'ELEC' bit.
The numbers on the back of the broken parts are 83462 S04 and 83461 S04, which bear no resemblance to the dealer part numbers.
The price I paid was £29 plus VAT each.
I know this is a SEAT Cupra forum, but as you probably know, the old SEAT Forum is down. I'd appreciate any input on this.
Thanks,
Dave.
