But yes my car is in a rare color which you don;t have in the UK i believe. But this is no problem, as when you order one from stealers, it comes in primer and I will get it painted here...
But could anyone find out what a mirror with housing and everything costs? (remember driver side for you)

just sent an email to a german ebayer asking for a quote on one, hope it makes sense as had to use an online converter lol
still want to try an octavia wing mirror for size though.

I couldnt find any pics anywhere of these e46 "style" wing mirrors on a car but on this E46 if theyre similar they should look alright when colour coded,
If i dont like them someone on ebay might buy them for a black ibiza as for a cheap set of wing mirrors theyre a lot better than M3 or DTM mirrors.
Only thing is they arent electric, how hard would it be to feed the wires in to a different backplate or would it be too much work and too much to pay someome to do?

no, i just cancelled my order with the above e46 style mirrors, if they were electric i might have kept them but they took so long the order was still processing i just cancelled it. Hopefully getting a respray at the end of the month but just going to stick with the normal setup after all
I ordered them on the 27th Feb, and checked the site today and it still said processing, so I cancelled.

German ebay, thats where i got mine from. Worked out about £60 i think.
just been on the blokes ebay shop and seems like he has another two for sale. I'd copy and past the text into a free translater on google just to check they are electric ones. I'm pretty sure they are though.

i wasnt aware that they do stubby ones on 1 side as ours only has the 1 mirror thats needed for MOT, which is a ridiculously small carbon fibre bike one with carbon base plates lol

on all models, the drivers side is larger and the passenger side stubby, thats why people source lhd passenger stubbys so both sides are equal
