Which tyre would you suggest?

Is it worth going with 19"? I was also thinking about 17". Which 17" alloys can I fit to Cupra, and they should look good :D ?

I always tend to go 1" down in diameter and slightly narrower than the the normal wheels for winter - keeps the aesthetics reasonably in check whilst providing a bit more more give in the tyre than std, which is ideal for the winter roads.

Dealer confirmed that 17" from the Leon "accessories" will fit, but 18" will sure have a better look on the car.

Really not an issue with 17"

If you have the performance pack 19" are minimum as they developed the unique 19" to clear the callipers. Or am I wrong?

For my ST Cupra 280 without PP I'll go for the Oxxo Vapor Black in 7.5x18 Offset 48 with the Nokian WR D4 in 225/40 R18 92V XL, should be fine for the Swiss winter :)

I was looking at this offer at my dealer. This is last years price, but they can offer a discount to get the same price.

Make it cheap, buy second hand rims and high end rubber

Check out the Seat Germany accessories section. Seat supply Winter wheel / tyre packages for Leon incl. Cupra all sizes. May not be the cheapest, but an interesting read.

I would also like to hear the difference between 19" and 17". Of course on 17", I won't go on a trackday :)
