Winter tyre for Cupra 280

Which tyre would you suggest?

Is it worth going with 19"? I was also thinking about 17". Which 17" alloys can I fit to Cupra, and they should look good ?

I bought 18", as I was told 17" wouldn't clear the brakes.

The standard spare is 18".

I always tend to go 1" down in diameter and slightly narrower than the the normal wheels for winter - keeps the aesthetics reasonably in check whilst providing a bit more more give in the tyre than std, which is ideal for the winter roads.

Ill be purchasing 4 x 19" Pirelli Sotozero 3 tyres. I don't want the look of the car compromised.

I went with Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme at 19", on a set of black Cades Bern.

Dealer confirmed that 17" from the Leon "accessories" will fit, but 18" will sure have a better look on the car.

I've got 18's on my Cupra 280, I can struggle to see how 17's would fit.

If you have the Brembo brakes, I cant see most 18" rims clearing the calipers, let alone 17"

If you have the performance pack 19" are minimum as they developed the unique 19" to clear the callipers. Or am I wrong?

For my ST Cupra 280 without PP I'll go for the Oxxo Vapor Black in 7.5x18 Offset 48 with the Nokian WR D4 in 225/40 R18 92V XL, should be fine for the Swiss winter
