Would 17 inch alloys fit my mk3 Leon Cupra 280, or is it just 19 and 18 inch alloys that fit? I’m guessing it’s the brake discs and callipers which pose the issue when reducing down?

Out of curiosity, I just looked on www.rimstyle.com website to see what sizes of alloys they display for your car and the smallest size they return in the search results is 18” (see screenshot below) - presumably, as you’ve said, because of the Cupra’s larger brakes.

Even if some alloy wheels would, in theory, fit over the brake calipers and discs, there may still be clearance issues between the brakes and the stick on wheel balance weights. Certain combinations of wheel width, offset and spoke design could also present clearance issues (e.g. the reverse side of the spokes fouling the brake calipers).

I have 19 inch rims at the moment. The brake discs I have are Juratek 1K0615301AD on the front. I think they’re 340mm. 17s will fit over these discs and callipers too?

The standard Cupra brakes are 340 - The 370's have 4 pot brembo calipers.

Nah, mine are standard, not Brembo. There’s a fair gap between my current rims and brake discs.
