Wishbone bushes

Seeking your collective wisdom on this one.

Dealers have said that I need to have the front wishbone rear bushes (think that's right?) replaced as they are cracked. The car is 6 years old with 80,000 miles on it. Are there any other bushes I should get replaced at the same time (front wishbone front bushes?), assuming they might be in a similar state, or do I just wait until the dealer says they need replaced?

Also, (may be a stupid question ) do I need to get the alignment done after this sort of work?

I would have them both done, can't cost much extra while the labour is virually the same price, don't think you need allignmennt after, not sure tho'

I would say, if you can afford to do it, have the front and rear ones changed at the same time, if not, there's no problem what-so-ever to have just the rear ones changed. It shouldn't need re-aligning, but many places do free checks, so may be worth having one of those done, just in case, you dont want uneven tyre wear now do you.

bushes are cheap the labour isn't. They'll have to remove the wishbones to put new bushes in so get them to do front and back in one go.
