Basically needing ideas on what to do now!

The drivers side wishbone on my ibiza was knackerd so I set about replacing it and came across a problem.

The bolt nearest the sump had basically sheered inside so couldnt get it out.
Had to angle grind the head of the bolt then the whole wishbone off. but im still left with the end part of the bolt stuck in.

Cant grip it with anything and cant drill it out as there isnt enough room because of the sump.

Anyone came across a similar problem or have an suggestions how to get it out!

I've had one of these bolts shear on me recently, had to unbolt the engine from the left hand rear mount and jack it up slightly, so i could get the drill in without the sump getting in the way.

Then i drilled it out and helicoiled it.

Where abouts did you jack it up? Dont wanna jack it up on the sump as its not exactly a strong metal. Was the Rear mount easy to get at and remove

cheers for replying, I was totally stuck on what to do.

i put a piece of wood under the sump to spread the load and jacked up on that, not ideal, but was struggling for anywhere else.

The mount is fiddly, i found it best to get at from underneath, however i've got Vibra-technics engine mounts, so not sure if this makes it much different, can't remember what the standard mounts were like.
