Worried its going to stop

Right well basically my leon 1.4 16v has been a bit of a pain lately sometimes doesnt like starting if its been moved a couple of minutes then stopped then you try it later and doesnt want to start till the 3rd or 4th cranking seshion, then while im going along the revs will just drop off then build back up again then today on my way to the seat dealer in braintree it cut out completely after i changed up a gear i cranked it and it came back into life but im going to brighton saturday night and dont want it conking out on the way there does anybody have any clue on what it could be? I've run a diagnostic check using
snap-on solus at work and it comes up with temperacture sensor although ive been told that the solus just brings that up on all vag cars
any information would help as I would like to get it working perfect before the weekend

CTS sends a signal to the ECU for the correct amount of fuel, dependent on the temperature of the coolant.

right well so far i've changed the cam/cranksensor, coolant temperacture sensor and cleaned the throttle body which have had no effect but then i reset the throttle body and the problem went away for a 3 days now its doing it again which leads me to believe its the throttle body/idle sensor
any thoughts?
