Worst LCR SPLITTER experience?

I Put the Splitter on less than 2 days ago! Out comes Mr Fox and decides to Kamakaze into it! lol Goodbye LCR splitter number 1! Already fitted a 2nd one today! Whats the worst LCR splitter experience you've had? and just wanted to know say if i was to go through a third splitter would i need bigger screws? as the holes are getting bigger underneath the bumper!

seen my 1st one in my rear view mirror @ 120mph...never went back for it

or just screw in a different place each time, or use bolts

personally never had a problem. Hit a few speed humps, kerbs with them, but that's what its there for

Mine has proved to be quite sturdy so far. Hit a few kerbs with it, and then crashed into a hedge, and it was still in one piece and attached to the bottom of the bumper. Though i think the design of the 1.4 bumper played a big part in its survival as the bottom few inches comes off.

Here's to its future survial

At £20 its not gonna break the bank when it does finally give up!

Yup back today good as new.

To be honest there's not much point in a splitter on a 1.4 unless you colour code the bottom trim. Once it's colour coded I think it looks pretty well for a £20 mod

Hit a dead badger soon after I bought the car. Snapped my splitter in half, had to hold it up with electrical tape. Luckily didn't touch my bumper!

Did see it was a combination of going a bit over the limit and thinking that I was still in the 1.4 and wasn't alot lower...

On my 3rd now in 6months! Took off, or weight of the car seriously lightened when going over a hump in the road doing a fair speed and bottomed out smashing it. Was dragging it for ages wondering what the horrible scraping noise was all about, then hooked on as people were staring at the front of the car!!

Not guna bother putting it on untill Ultimate Dubs and so forth...

Had mine on a little over 48 hours and lightly scraped it twice - both times coming off my drive but nothing major, just a light scuff. Almost inevitable that it's going to rub slightly everytime I come off it

I think it's one of those subtle mods that really enhances the front of the Ibiza, and for £20 I'm not too fussed if I have to replace it once in a while

put mine on saturday lunch time, scraped it like mad today, coming over a speed bump, was really loud thought id ripped it off!

LoL i dont think anyone has managed a week without it falling off or scraping!! MY SEAT DEALER HAS PUT THE PRICE UP TO 21.59!! RIP OFF!!

lol, mine was amazed they had one in stock, i said to him i bet he gets people asking for them all the time and he looked at me and said "nah, what is it anyway" so result!! as long as they dont get popular round my way the price should stay at £18

i've got 6 screws & washers that came with a set of 6x9's holding mine on, never came off once yet, done 140mph too still on stronge also caught it a few times too lol

im on my 6th now....

1st one got scraped to fook (replaced 4 months after fitting)
2nd one snapped (2 days after fitting )
3rd one got eaten by a speed bump
4th one was kindly taken away by a stupid squirrel whop could not decided if he wanted to run left or right.
5th one munched by a speed bump again
6th one is fitted at the moment and i have raised the car slightly.

2 for me-
1st one scuffed everywhere then snapped in the middle driving too fast down a country road when it bottomed out, 2nd one survived a fox at 70mph... but my bumper didnt lol. so 2 so far

I fitted mine then realised it was too low to drive into my garage because its on a sligt slope and was scrapping really bad, now have to reverse it in every time. (can be a bit tricky for the miss's sumtimes. lol).
