would you go custom exhausts

just scared about possible hassle and poor quality people mention about, but i'm not going big bore, mega noise huge pipes etc. just something subtle over stock and slightly deeper and noticeable, would i loose power on custom?

I have got as much chance of answering that question correctly as I have getting 6 numbers right on the lotto

Even if you have £300-£500 to spend I believe you can make the car quicker (which is what I assumed you were trying to do) by doing other things than the exhaust first

Start with Remaps, short shifters and dog bone engine mounts then uprating brakes / suspension / tyres etc etc

P1tse im sure you seen my celica one but yeah all exhausts where "sounded" to how i wanted it ,made them do it 3 times for my s2k as all the off shelves system boomed really bad. The've all been cat back systems im gong to MIJ on the 2nd to have one on the lcr as i want a bit more noise

Don't forget BlueFlame can do custom systems. My turboback was handbuilt on the car by Ian Birch himself.

Ive got a powerflow cat back and have no qualms whatsoever, sounds great and looks fantastic.

powerflow chopped my pipe just before the cat and replaced it with a stainless pipe without a back box all the way to the tip and have no complaints whats so ever

p1ste its just the way the photo was took it wasnt low as for cost £300 for a cat back system from MIJ. TBH your gonu have to ask yourself what you really want and your budget then take it from there because everyones going to have good and bad point about parts.
